General Information:

Registration, abstract submission, and booking are three individual steps. During any of these steps you will have the possibility to create a new "user account". Your user account consists of your user name (i.e. your full email-address) and a password of your choice. All subsequent actions are then conducted over this account.

Update:
The deadline for reserving a hotel room in Vienna through the EASAA at guaranteed rates expires on February 28th! Please reserve your hotel room by February 28th.
After that date, we cannot guarantee availability or the discount rates we negotiated with our partner hotels. Conference Registration continues through 30 April.

Registration:

The registration fee for the upcoming conference will be 180€ regular and 110€ for students. Please remember that students will be required to show a valid picture student ID during the collection of materials on-site and, if failing to do so, will have to pay the full registration fee of 180€. We will also offer the possibility of payment on-site (20€ penalty) and first time registration on-site (40€ penalty).

Travelling together with someone? Your partner is welcome to attend all social events (welcome reception, exhibition opening, excursion and a dinner, farewell party and buffet) for an added fee of 80€. Please check the appropriate box on the registration form to add this fee to your registration costs. If, however, your partner also wishes to attend the scientific events, he/she is required to pay the full registration fee. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a further family discount.

The registration fee gives you access to all official programs and events*:

• informal reception with welcoming drinks on Sunday

• lunch during all five conference days

• coffee and tea breaks daily

• Wednesday afternoon and evening excursion including dinner

• official farewell party Friday evening

• other events to be announced

• computer facilities and wlan access available

We would like to assure you that there will be no beef or pork served on any lunch or dinner with the exception of the reception at the city hall, where they will be clearly marked. Vegan and vegetarian options will be available.

*Accommodation and travel costs are not included.

Abstract Submission: (CLOSED)

Special sessions will be scheduled for poster presenters to be able to answer questions regarding their projects. Please note that in order to reduce the number of parallel sessions we will choose much fewer paper presentations. Therefore we encourage people to apply for poster presentations. You may present only one paper or poster including participation in a group presentation.
Posters will be peer-reviewed. Posters that are selected will appear in the book of abstracts and will also be published in the online poster proceedings.
Abstracts have a maximum length of 2000 characters, posters must be uploaded as JPEGs of a maximum size of 2 MB. One or more author/co-authors must be specified for each submission. Doctoral students are required to have attended at least one previous conference of the EASAA and to supply a signed letter of recommendation from their supervisor. Abstracts, poster submissions and recommendation letters (in pdf-format) can be uploaded via the Abstract Submission form.

Accommodation Booking:

Besides our conference accommodation "Porzellaneum", we offer double and single rooms with bath and toilet in three to four star hotels. Please keep in mind that finding a reasonably priced accommodation during the high season in Vienna can be an utmost difficult task. Thus, since we can't give any guarantees beyond our reserved accommodation contingent, we kindly advise you to book your accommodations as soon as possible.

We regret to inform you that due to the modalities and high cost of organizing the Conference, a handling fee of €50 will be charged in case we must refund your registration fee due to cancellation after May 31st.
